As last time was a special edition of Silvaner Sundays , this is this month’s standard edition. There aren’t many high-quality sparkling Silvaners out there. However, the Mays from Retzstadt produce an excellent one.
Since we are staying at the Kraemer’s holiday flat for a few days next week, I thought I will do a special edition of Silvaner Sundays. Somewhere on the internet I found a few bottles of the 2017 vintage of Stephan’s Silvaner.
For the first article in this new series I chose a slightly unconventional wine region for Silvaner. This one comes from the Taubertal, but from the part that belongs to Baden.
