It has been a while since I reviewed my last bottle of champagne. In this case, I am presenting the Arpège Blanc the Blanc to you. This bottle comes from the pioneer of organic farming in the Champagne.

I always wanted to try this champagne, because I was curious to see how Bollinger’s influence plays out here. Luckily, my wife gave me a bottle of the Brut Majeur as a Christmas present.
Just before the Christmas season starts, is the ideal time to discover some new champagne. Paired with the fact that our last champagne tasting was two years ago, I gathered some friends and we tried nine different bottles.
This is actually the last drink I mixed in our old apartment. Yet, I was not happy with the pictures I took in a hurry. So, I remixed the drink and also used the chance to present you a tasty champagne.

Apart from the Doctor Cocktail, I also celebrated my PhD with some champagne. I actually bought the bottle a year ago just for this occasion. I highly recommend reserving certain bottles for special events. There just is something deeply satisfying in opening them for those occasions.
