I always wanted to try this champagne, because I was curious to see how Bollinger’s influence plays out here. Luckily, my wife gave me a bottle of the Brut Majeur as a Christmas present.
I do enjoy the spritis from Scheibel’s ‘Alte Zeit’ range quite much. Yet, there liqueurs are where they really shine! In this case, I came up with a sparkling wine cocktail using their whisky as well as the new Blackcurrant Rum.
This is actually the last drink I mixed in our old apartment. Yet, I was not happy with the pictures I took in a hurry. So, I remixed the drink and also used the chance to present you a tasty champagne.
This is it! To the day ten years ago, I started this blog and posted my first cocktail recipe. While I kept doing what I love, nowadays it is about finding the time to shoot the pictures, postproduction, writing and publishing. However, for my anniversary post, I have something special for you!
When I came up with my drink for Negroni Week 2023, I also created an Americano version. Similar to my ‘Into the Red’ I used pinot noir sparkling wine in the drink. This resulted in a sparkling, but also still quite refreshing drink.
I am always late to the party. In this case, I missed Negroni week with my second post which I especially prepared for this occasion. I made a Negroni variation I had in mind for a long time now. Well, better late than never!
Let us start with Dry January. I have a non-alcoholic cocktail forn you that is great for celebrating. It uses a great, high-quality non-alcoholic pear Cidre and an excellent Rooibos tea.
To be honest, I am not a big fan of spiced or flavoured rum. Still, I am reviewing a bottle for you and came up with a great cocktail using it. On top of that, this honey and orange flavoured rum based spirit has quite the background story.
