St. Clarity – Kraemer Weiss Heiss
Stephan Kraemer introduced his mulled wine right in time for the Christmas season. Since we were there when they harvested the apples for it, I just had to come up with a drink using it.
The Kraemer Weiss Heiss uses white wine, apple cider, mulled wine spices as well as some sugar. It clocks in at 8 % ABV. For a drink, I used a healthy amount of the mulled wine. On top of that, I combined mandarin as well as lemon juice for a classic, but Christmassy sour base. In the end, I added simple syrup and two pinches of cinnamon.
2,25 cl Mandarin Juice
2,25 cl Lemon Juice
0,75 cl Simple Syrup
Shake – strain – Christmas bowl glass;

The drink starts with a great combination of Christmas spices and touches of citrus. On top of that, you get slight hints of wine as well as apple cider. The “Chasing Gold” is a lighter, yet also complex drink for the colder days.
