Single Malt from Germany already is quite normal, but rye and other US style whiskeys are a bit of a novelty. I already featured the Stork Club rye whiskey here on the blog. However, Florian Faude is new to the game. So, I thought I put both distilleries head to head!

For my last drink in my small series on drinks with eau de vie from the Scheibel Distillery, I went for a Lion’s Tail variation. Apart from the addition of some Mirabell eau de vie, I stayed quite true to the original specs. So, let us see how this allspice laced cocktail turned out!
This is the last article and drink from my series of American Whiskey based cocktails. This time I came up with a drink loosely based on Sam Ross’s Paper Plane. However, apart from the lemon juice, I basically changed all the ingredients.
It took quite a while, but here is my cocktail creation using my souvenir from our Canada / USA trip. For the WhistlePig Piggy Back Rye, I chose an Old-Fashioned variation with Canadian ingredients.
