I discovered the Dr. Jaglas Dry Hibiscus when looking for high-quality San Bitter alternatives. This hibiscus flavoured aperitivo just sounded perfect for a little NA-highball.

Actually, I wanted to publish this post in New Year’s Eve. However, I only managed to finish it a day late, but I promise from tomorrow on it will only be Dry January content! Until now, I never had an elderberry eau de vie. Yet, I was too intrigued not to try it. Once again, […]
When the folks from Gin de Cologne asked me if I wanted to try their new Mediterranean Gin, I gladly said yes. This version of their classic gin seemed perfect for refreshing summer drinks. Well, as it turns out, it was – although the creation is not for the faint hearted!

Furthermore, instead of adding complementary flavours, I played heavily on the Brockman’s Gin proprietary berry notes. While I am quite pleased […]
Pastis is quite the underappreciated ingredient. Ever since absinthe is wildly available again, Pastis, the herbal liqueur created to replace the mysterious ingredient, has been ekes out a niche existence. Yet, apart from the two famous brands, high quality liqueurs exist with an excellent value for money. Of course, you have to be a fan […]

When the drink also includes wine or beer, it is tempting to already sip them in the afternoon. However, even if you do not want to promote day drinking these light refreshers are also perfect for […]
