Every year there is speculation about the new summer drink. In the end, what people really drink sill is the Aperol Spritz. However, this does not mean that you should come up with alternative summer drinks! In this case, I kept it as simple as possible.
Last, but not least, I am featuring a non-alcoholic cocktail I came up with last year, but only got around to try now. The drink features some trending ingredients and also sticks to the theme of this year’s Dry January – tea.
Here is another drink to reminisce on summer! A lower ABV highball which serves as a perfect refresher for the hotter days, or as an excellent Aperitif. I just wanted to play around with the flavours here and use rosemary as a garnish.
Yes, it is another new gin and yes summer is almost over. However, this does not mean that you could not sip a summery gin highball. In this case, I came up with a grapefruit forward Negroni style highball.

For Cinco de Mayo I present a new mezcal to you. German spirits importer Perola’s Topanito range features agve spirits with a great value for money. So, as a new addition to the line-up they presented a trio of wild agave mezcals. I chose the Tobalá variety and used it in a Mexican inspired Highball.
