Dry January – Spilt Milk
You often read that creating a good non-alcoholic cocktail is harder than creating one with booze. I totally agree, you have to make up for the lack of flavour and mouthfeel. For Dry January 2025, I rely heavily on caffeine.

I really enjoy sake, whether as a drink accompanying sushi, or mixed in Japanese-inspired cocktails. This is why I was very happy to have one a care-package by Akashi-Tai on my friend Serge’s page Hungry Thirsty Bored. Instantly, I came up with a sake based highball, which is light, but also very refreshing.
The Niemand Gin’s rose bottle already caught my eye a few years ago. However, I never got around to try it until now. So, to change that we are taking a closer look at the sandalwood forward gin today. Besides the obligatory Gin & Tonic, I had the feeling that the gin would be great […]

The Barrel Aged Gin even donates 10 € to a bar or restaurant of your choice. So, let us take a closer look at the amber coloured gin […]
As promised, here are the best cocktails you can mix up with blood orange eau de vies! Of course, a Blood Orange & Tonic is a great, refreshing highball. However, I also took a look at (modern) classic cocktails and added a bit of blood orange eau de vie to them. On top of that, […]
After the big initial hype, I steered a bit clean off Mezcal, because its intense taste was a bit too much for me. However, every once in a while I am in the mood for tequila’s “dirty” cousin and its smoky agave flavour. This is why I wanted to present the Bruxo X Mezcal to […]
