For this recipe, I started with a Gin & It variation. Yet, I added a bit of Italian red bitter to the recipe and this basically took the drink in another direction entirely. So, I just embraced the Negroni (Cardinale) spirit.
This post falls under the “Remixed!” category, because the recipe comes from Dennis Stein of Le Lion, Hamburg. They are selling a barrel aged version of it during Negroni Week. So, if you are in Hamburg check it out.
I am always late to the party. In this case, I missed Negroni week with my second post which I especially prepared for this occasion. I made a Negroni variation I had in mind for a long time now. Well, better late than never!
This is the second White Negroni variation in a short time. However, I cannot remember that I ever made a Mezcal Negroni variation. So, to change that, I came up with this aloe enhanced recipe.
There a lot of gins out there, but still you can find really good ones by coincidence. My good friend Torben from Trinklaune suggested that I try the Wilder Mind gin. Obviously, I had to comply and try the gin Paul Brusdeilins distils after building quite the resume with other gins.
So far I have written about the classic Negroni and its variations from other barkeepers. So, here are two variations from myself. While the first one shows how I would prepare your Negroni if you would be my guest, the second one takes everything a bit further. Some even would say too far…
I have been planning an article about Negronis for quite some time now. So, this year’s Negroni week is the perfect reason for not further postponing it. So, below you can find four different “Negronis” ranging from the original classic to modern interpretations.
For the next drink in this series on American Whiskey cocktails, I made a Boulevardier variation. Additionally, I drew some inspiration from the White Negroni to come up with a kind of combination of the two drinks.
I thought I would make it a hat trick and write about the third tequila drink in a row. This time it is all about a great blanco tequila in combination with White Negroni variation. With a little extra in the form of a strawberry pepper bitters.
