Tropical Month ’25 – Mai Tai
Ever since I got my hands on the Satoshi Curaçao, I wanted to mix up a Mai Tai with it. So, tropical month came as a welcome excuse to try it out. I can already reveal this much: It was a very tasty cocktail.

I came up with this drink during Tropical Month 2023, but did not came around to write about it. Since this was a great combination of flavours, I thought I just post it this year. However, this also means I am not completely sure how I got to the specific recipe.
Well, I recently wondered which cocktail I should mix to celebrate me getting my PhD? Obviously, there really one was one choice – the Doctor Cocktail. Especially if you have some homemade Swedish Punch at hand.
In a line with last year, I came up with a tropical Champagne cocktail. This time it was inspired by the classic Hurricane. However, I also added a passion fruit jam as well as some Moscatel sherry just for good measure. Furthermore, this gives me the perfect excuse to review this rather new champagne.

As the first article in 20178 I decided to remind ourselves of warmer days! Therefore, I prepared a summery, Daiquiri variation for us. Besides a great Demerara rum, the recipe also includes an organic flavouring. Before you now cry out in horror of food flavouring, let me assure you that the Junip Natural Organic Flavour […]
The second instalment of this years Tiki month is also based on another classic Tiki cocktail, the Zombie! There is no better drink suited for a new overproof rum than this deadly and iconic Don the Beachcomber drink! The rum itself, the Plantation O.F.T.D. is the newest addition to the diverse line up of Plantation […]
