The Next Level of Homemade Drinks
Manuel asked me to create a Spritz-style cocktail using one of his citrus eaux de vie. I was more than happy to oblige, simply combining the eau de vie with some syrup. As with all sparkling wine cocktails, the quality of the wine used is paramount.
While my first love are spirits and cocktails, I am also a bit into wine. So, when I got the chance to try a organic orange wine, I was all for it! The Orange Gold from Gerard Bertrand also sounded like the perfect base for a nice autumnal Spritz!
After gin and vermouth, clearly the next trend are non-alcoholic “spirits”. I still have not found a good way of describing this category, because strictly speaking they are not “spirits”.
