The Myth – Kiyoko Yuzu Aperitif
Kiyoko still is quite new to the market. It is an aperitif which combines typical Japanese ingredients. For a drink using it, I slightly altered the classic Mizuwari highball.

The next eau de vie from Manuel Engel uses one of the most famous Japanese citrus fruits. There are not a lot of yuzu eau de vies out there. So, Manuel took a chance and added one to his portfolio. Naturally, I want to share my thoughts about it, along with a refreshing highball.
The spirit category I neglect the most definitely is vodka. However, every time I do get a new one, I tend towards Vesper variations. Luckily, I also got my hands on a great grape marc spirit to pair the vodka with.

Liquorice, it is one of those flavours which parts nations! Either you love it or you hate it and there is not much left in between. I am counting myself to the first group of people and therefor I was very curious to try the liquorice lemonades made by The Drinking Ape. So, if you […]
When doing research for an article about the Negroni I stumbled on the Harajuku cocktail. The special thing about this Negroni variation was its use of Hibiki Blended Japanese Whisky. Since, the big aricle on everyones favourite bitter drink will take some more time and planning, I set out to see if I could create […]
