Claws, Pt. 1 – A Caçhaca Negroni
A break from all the wine and on with another Negroni variation. There are never enough of them! This one really is something for the discerning Negroni drinker and the Caçhaca fan.
I simply combined aged Caçhaca with mango and passionfruit eau de vie. Instead of just plain Italian bitter, I also used a splash of Meletti Amaro. Last but not least, there is a natural wine based Bianco vermouth instead of sweet vermouth.

Different to other Negroni variations, this one does not necessarily go down as smooth. The Caçhaca introduces a whole new grassy layer of complexity to the drink. Furthermore, there is some fruitiness from the eau de vie.
