Negroni Week 2025 – One Red Thread
I just got a hunch that fig might work well paired with the classic Negroni flavours. So, I just had a go at it. I guess it turned out pretty well.

Since I discovered that Negroni Week 2025 has just started and my calendar was wrong. Luckily, I had a basic Negroni recipe in the backlog. Apart from that, it gives me the chance to reminisce a bit about Negroni variations.
Basically, I built this Negroni variation around the glass from Lobmeyr which just seemed perfect for a straight up serve. I chose the name of a random song which came up when I typed “grapefruit” into Apple Music. Yet, it seem perfect, because by know every iteration of the original just seems like a big […]

It has been a while since I last infused a base spirit with something. However, when I discovered a bottled “Jasmine Negroni” I just had to recreate it. So, I bought a high-quality, organic Jasmine tea and cold drip infused Ki No Bi Gin with it. Obviously, you could make any gin cocktail you like […]
It’s been a while since I wrote the last article in this series. However, sometimes there are bottles you just have to revisit from time to time. In this case, this applies to the gin as well as to the eau de vie. Both are excellent spirits which enrich each liquor cabinet. On top of […]
