Yes, it is another new gin and yes summer is almost over. However, this does not mean that you could not sip a summery gin highball. In this case, I came up with a grapefruit forward Negroni style highball.

Voices in the Field – Topanito Tobalá
For Cinco de Mayo I present a new mezcal to you. German spirits importer Perola’s Topanito range features agve spirits with a great value for money. So, as a new addition to the line-up they presented a trio of wild agave mezcals. I chose the Tobalá variety and used it in a Mexican inspired Highball.

I really enjoy sake, whether as a drink accompanying sushi, or mixed in Japanese-inspired cocktails. This is why I was very happy to have one a care-package by Akashi-Tai on my friend Serge’s page Hungry Thirsty Bored.
