The Home Bar Awards challenge for Mai 2023 was to create a bourbon ‘Session’ drink for the summer. This time, the competition was supported by Basil Hayden’s. After a little research, I came up with a simple recipe which takes a little bit more effort during preparation.
It is time for Soundtrack my Friend’s Drink again! For Volume 14 Adam collected song suggestions reminding us of our youth and randomly assigned them to another participant. In addition, we should include a childhood snack in the drink or as a garnish. So, I went for a high school party inspired mess of ingredients.
Sometimes you just have to remix drinks you had too long ago. In this case, the Highball might seem a bit boring at first glance. However, the Mizuwari Highball is more than its list of ingredients might suggest. On top of that, this gave me the excuse to present the Nikka Coffey Grain Whisky to […]

As promised, here comes my first non-alcoholic cocktail in 2022. I thought I would start with cocktails using tea. Every time I am creating a non-alcoholic cocktail, I am trying to replace the alcohol with another flavour-full ingredient. Besides coffee, tea also works very well here. In this case, I went for something tropical. If […]
For quite some time now, I wanted to come up with a drink using the Fever Tree Smoky Ginger Ale. When I got my hands on the James Cree’s Single Malt, I knew that this was the perfect opportunity to come up with a Horse’s Neck variation. Furthermore, we also take a closer look at […]
