I guess it is kind of a new trend to come up with cake or dessert flavoured liqueurs. In this case, I got a surprise sample of apple strudel liqueur from the Tinnauer Distillery. Inspired by a drink from Cocktailbart, I decided to mix up an apple flavoured sour style cocktail.

In my opinion Sherry is a far too underestimated ingredient. That’s why I often try to come up with new drinks that use this fortified wine. I am especially proud of this one, because it was a bit of a gamble if the ingredients would match. Luckily they did.
