At the last minute I changed the recipe I had written down. Basically, I built this alcohol free drink around the sour cherry syrup. Yet, I threw out the lemon juice.
It is always pure joy to take part in Adam’s Soundtrack My Friends Drink! This time we each had to come up with a shot. Another participant than chose a song to soundtrack the recipe.
I really enjoy agave spirits, especially tequila. However, when it comes to how often I mix drinks with them, they tend to fall behind. To change that, I came up with a Tequila Manhattan variation with cherry eau de vie as the supporting role.

Since you can never have enough series going on, I thought I would start a new one. This time it is all about overproof eau de vies. While with whisky and rum overproof is a thing now, eau de vies are usually bottled at drinking-strength. So, we will take a closer look at some exceptions.
