Some people say that there are not many good tequila cocktails out there. I think that’s a myth, because unfortunately most people still think shots with lemon and salt when they think of tequila. So for the ever so fast fading summer I thought I’ll have a go at a tequila cocktail.
After the champagne tasting at the C&D forum meeting I thought I had enough of champagne for a while. Well, I was wrong. And because of that I will provide you with a comparison of three reasonably priced champagnes.

One of the many items on the agenda of the C&D forum meeting was a cognac seminar held by B.N.I.C. educator Julia Nourney. By sampling twelve different cognacs in three flights we had your work cut out for us and here are my promised tasting notes.
Every year the members of the German cocktail forum meet in a different city to exchange ideas and learn more about drinks and spirits. This year’s destination was Berlin, which probably has the fastest changing cocktail scene throughout Germany.
